The God of Creation

For countless eons the embryo that would one day become the creation of time and space, lay dormant, as a mere notion in the mind of God. There all the galaxies of the universe huddled as an illusive idea, awaiting the expression of their master.

At the proper time God unrolled an endless dark void. Then settling on a seemingly insignificant spot, he began to work. From a tiny point, much smaller than an electron, God called forth all the energy of the present universe. In an instant the creation poured into being, through a speck in space.

All physical matter has been created from astronomically massive amounts of pure energy. This energy originally issued from a single, sub-atomic spot in space, as the blast of countless hydrogen bombs might suddenly push through a pin prick.

This infinitesimal point was the doorway to creation. Through this aperture there streamed an inexpressibly enormous quantity of pristine power, which emerging from its source, entered the created realm and congealed into pools of flaming matter. These straightway combined with their brothers to form the fiery masses of stars, suns, and galaxies.

These celestial bodies blasted into a new world, of which they themselves were the first inhabitants. Light flooded before them, and racing ahead, pushed forward the boundaries of the created realm.

The flaming giants gave chase and sped from their birthplace with a reckless fury. To the roar of cataclysm these princely stars hastened to far off destinies in the unknown, writhing in blazing splendor, and trailing a smoke of curling debris to mark their path through the void.

Far and fast they fled, until viewed from their origin, they appeared as little more than a spray of brilliant specks. But even there, at the expansive edges of empty space, they could not hide from God- for he was already there, and his presence awaited their arrival. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

Neither with all their powerful going could they ever exceed the limits of God. For he is infinitely larger than the created realm. He exists throughout the creation, around it, and far beyond it. He is in every place and every time, dwelling always in the grandeur of limitless self-existence. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

With a wave the splendor of tiny snowflakes appeared in the black of space. Enchanting they danced, a little storm to spin and swirl. Clever they spied a single star and gently settled toward the fiery ball. God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.

As soft as eider these soldiers drew near to torment the menacing quasar. The snow flakes though small, were ordained by God and dispatched for this purpose. He thrives on confrontation and delights in controversy. The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

Swirling down and around the flecks of snow attacked the burning brute, and were vaporized with exploding shrieks that dispatched in steamy jets. Yet all their pain, and even all their existence, resided first in the compassion of God. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Undismayed by the sacrifice of their brothers the snowflakes collected and fell, light as feathers, approaching a fiery doom. Contacting the maddened surface the liquid rock reviled in indignation, to hiss and blow its disapproval. But still each little recruit hastened to the fray, to die in searing plumes of billowing white. And all this intrigue originated in God. It was he who begat their tears; he was torn with every cry. Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

Behind this melee of chaotic confrontation there dwelt the confidence of a serene creator. God was unmoved, for the outcome was certain. He is the orchestrator of every event. He energizes both sides of every conflict. He inflamed both the fiery rock and the snow which expired on its surface. He made them both. All things exist for his pleasure. Regardless of the process he chooses, or the appearance along the way, God can never lose. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

As time strolled through the ages, the swirling snow warriors began to take their toll. Though seemingly so small, as each valiant crystal fell upon the magma its effort contributed to a greater whole, and soon the molten lava was tamed and cooled to a rocky crust. At last the new planet conceded the game, venting its proud reluctance with sporadic puffs of latent steam.

Inspired by victory now assured, the snow continued to fall, congealing upon the landscape and gradually covering the ebony rock with drifts of powdery white. An icy calm ensued as God subdued the land and bent it to his will. He has fashioned all things as they are. He is the power behind every event and every force. Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.

In a moment forests blossomed upon this orb in space, and wooded richness spread to the valleys and hills. In a flash the land came alive with new life, and teamed with creatures great and small. Serene the breezes breathed, caressing earth and sky, to mix the blues and greens and scatter the brilliant colors of nature gone mad.

In a twinkling she cooed, a little dove, weaving a spell of downy repose to the first wee chirp of newborn life- where seconds before existed only the angry inferno of holocaust. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Then from this newest planet erupted a haunting sound. It was the voice of men, crying unto God for their wretched existence.

In a wind of whirling fire God swept to the earth, his manifestation exuding his genius. The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. His appearance is wonderful, and exquisitely tailored for every task. Behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. He is timeless existence, with the infinite power to become everything at once, and anything at all. And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM.

God is separate and alone, yet his joy is with the sons of Adam. Ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. His demeanor is emphatic and irresistible. With the intensity of infinite wisdom he arranges the affairs of men. I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

With resounding glory the heavens burst into joyous uproar¾ the universe sang with the grandeur of the creation spectacle. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Applauding realms of created beings fell into grateful worship, for all found their existence in the benevolent resplendence of their loving God. How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

And all this was but a single day in the ever-present, infinite world of your God, the creator of the universe. His work is surveyed from a throne where time has no meaning. The LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble. He commands all things from the vantage of eternal existence. They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment. He is magnificent in timeless power, which issues from the perfection of his autonomous, self-perpetuating life. As a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

But turning to his dear friend Gabriel, God sighed in lonely despair. For in a fashion, God was alone, almost a prisoner of solitude in his own universe. There was no other being like himself. The angels and the stars were created things, who obeyed their directives to precision. Even Gabriel cannot say or do anything that was not first placed into him by his creator. God’s fellowship with the angels is like your fellowship with a toaster. Put in the bread, push down the handle, and up pops the toast, always done to monotonous perfection.

Incarcerated in this irony, God has existed for eons. He has never known a meaningful relationship, nor has he ever heard an original thought. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me.

To satisfy this pain he finally conceived a splendid new plan. He decided to reproduce himself, to bring forth Sons, begotten in his own image, who would possess his same capacity. These Sons are his only hope for any true fellowship. They are the answer to his problem, and the desire of his heart.

For the present, God is alone on his plateau of majestic existence, awash in infinite possibility and without an adversary. In secret he observes all things in silence, and works all things in power. Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. His covering is brilliance, and his citadel the heavens. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain. He forms his servants into lustrous beings of radiant splendor. Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. He makes his weapons with the softness of snow. Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

God makes foolishness into wisdom, and weakness into power. God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. He fashions iniquity into beauty, and rebellion into his own offspring. Where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

There is no place that escapes God’s presence. No action occurs outside his wisdom. There is no boundary to his love. There is no limit to his power. There is no existence beyond his own. He sustains all things and is ruled by none. He is turned by his plan, and governed only by his own pleasure.

The Power of God

The earth is approximately 25,000 miles in circumference. A Boeing 747 can fly this distance in about 50 hours. The speed of light is much faster than this. Light can encircle the earth, seven times in one second. Light can travel to the sun in eight minutes, a distance of ninety-three million miles. The sun is only a small star, yet its power output is the continuous equivalent of 100 billion, one-megaton hydrogen bombs per second. At this rate, it will burn to an ash in about five billion years.

After the sun, the next closest star is Alpha Centauri, which is 4.3 light years away. This means that light takes 4.3 years to travel there, a distance of about 25 thousand billion miles. There is another nearby star called Antares, that is very large. Antares is only 400 light years away and has a diameter of 300 million miles. The distance from the sun to the earth is only one-third the diameter of Antares.

Earth is part of the Milky Way galaxy, which contains hundreds of billions of stars, all gravitationally interacting and orbiting about a common center. At the speed of light it would take 100,000 years to travel across the diameter of this single galaxy. Andromeda is the next closest galaxy. At the speed of light, it would take 2.2 million years to go there. Within the visible universe there are several hundred million individual galaxies.

Of all the religions in existence, only Yahweh, the God of Christianity, claims to have created the heavens and the earth. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. There is no power in existence, save the power of Yahweh. The heavens declare the glory of God. He does not experience degrees of difficulty. He is the master of the universe, and sovereign owner of all that dwell within it. The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

By his own power and without any assistance, God made the heavens, the earth, you, and your problems. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens. His power does not respond to things, it causes them. His wisdom is in motion before any creature is even aware of his presence. For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power, making it active, operative, energizing and effective. Hebrews 4:12 (Amplified). He is not passive, but rather proactive, energizing all things according to his own design. Our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

Having first created all things, God is now the sovereign ruler of his creation. As creator and monarch, his power is pervasive to the uttermost. Every physical and spiritual thing is conformed to his will. The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. As they turn in their orbits, the celestial bodies respond to his whim. Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.

Just as the stars bow to his wish, so also the terrestrial realm and its creatures are employed by the power of God. I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. While God appoints ministers to work under his direction, yet all their power is derived from him. He has no enemies, and even the appearance of any adversarial relationship dissolves upon closer inspection. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

From this vantage, God views and directs the governments of men. The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. The power of God is enthralled with man, and ever delights to stir his affairs. It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers. Every facet of human existence is the result of God’s exacting specifications. He made also of one, every nation of men to dwell upon all the face of the earth, marking out fitting opportunities, and the bounds of their dwelling place. Acts 17:26 (Emphasized).

The human governments of earth are established and ruled by God’s sovereign direction. Nothing happens in any government, that has not been energized by the ruler of the universe. To the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. If your government is perverted, this also is God’s work. I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. The activities of governments reveal the mind of the Lord, and those who take the time to look, will discern his secret doings. The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Within these governments, the power of God is absolute over the affairs of individual men. The LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. The purpose of God pierces every man, guiding and directing every life. Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Nothing escapes God’s power or occurs by itself. The decision is wholly of the Lord. Even the events that seem accidental, are really ordered by Him. Proverbs 16:33 (Amplified).

God provides all that is required for every person, in accordance with his plan for them. A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. Every action of man, every word, every thought, God has arranged and empowered to fulfill his design. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

You cannot remove yourself from the grasp and sway of God’s power, neither can you escape his presence. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. The personal power of God lingers everywhere and hovers over the tiniest things with infinite care. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Every secret fiber of your being is the familiar workshop of God. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

God is not only the answer to your problems, he is also the cause. He has placed you in the world, and in secret he indwells every action of every event that occurs around you. I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. Whether singing his praises or actively engaged in your worst failure, God was there, numbering your hairs. The very hairs of your head are all numbered.

From thunders to whispers, the power of God is awesome and unlimited - it accomplishes all things - for there is no other. It extends to the stars, the angels, and the affairs of men. And within his grasp you draw your next breath. For in him we live, and move, and have our being; for we are also his offspring.

The Wisdom of God

The mind of God is the birthplace of wisdom- he alone has this critical component for every success. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. God’s wisdom is the most valuable commodity in existence. No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies. The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold. He knows everything that can be known, and his wisdom sweeps through creation as rain through the clouds. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

The physical and spirit realms were formed by the insight of God, and even today they display his wisdom. The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. His wisdom is manifest in actions as he rules the universe. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. He sees the beginning and end of every decision. Whether cataclysm or inconvenience, every action is engineered by God’s wisdom. Nothing happens by happenstance, but all things are conceived and arranged by God. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

God’s knowledge of you extends to your atoms. God prepared your life, your successes, and your failures, before he fashioned you in the womb. All the thoughts, words, and deeds of your momentary existence, he scripted before you were born. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Your actions each day are all in accordance with God’s purpose for you. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. He knows what you are thinking now, and what you will think tomorrow. Thus saith the LORD; I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them. He knows what you said, and what you will say. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. He knows what you have done, and what you will do next. I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

God’s wisdom permeates your desires and abilities. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. There is nothing hid from his view, and for him there are no secrets. There is no created thing can be secreted before him, but all things are naked and exposed to his eyes. Hebrews 4:13 (Emphasized). With perfect clarity he directs your decisions and will guide you to your destiny. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

The heavens and earth were formed for a single purpose, that man might ultimately manifest the wisdom of God. We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. His wisdom is the treasure that every man needs, and the fortune that every man shall one day obtain. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

The wisdom of God is everywhere and in every thing. It is your job to discover this truth, and cooperate with his plan. But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

The Choice of God

Since God is all powerful and all wise, it follows that his choices are best. The decisions he makes are of the finest quality. Though you may not presently understand them, still his choices reflect the supreme perfection of his infinite wisdom. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

God sees the end from the beginning, and makes his choices to bring about his aim for every person, place, and thing. The wisdom of God scrutinizes every option and makes every decision. His plans are then carried out by his supreme power, with immediate, unobstructed dispatch. Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?

God is currently involved in the most ambitious project he has ever undertaken. Thus he has retained the sole responsibility to make every choice that is required to bring this work to perfection. The conditions that exist on this planet today are precisely the will of God. His choices have brought about things as you see them now. He is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

Like it or not, God has chosen the spiritual destiny for every star, every government, and every man. It is nonsense to believe that you can control or alter your permanent place in God. Even Jesus Christ cannot change your destiny. But to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. You do not modify God’s purpose, you fulfill it.

God has not abdicated his throne, or relegated his sacred plan to the incapable hands of any lesser beings. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? God has not abandoned his dearest work to the vacillating whims of unregenerate man. He does not need your advice. He has not asked for your help. He makes the choices, not you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.

Every action in the created realm was chosen by God to manifest his pleasure. When he chooses to have mercy, he does so. When he chooses to harden someone, he does that. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

All men are destined for supernal glory, but each in his own order. During this short earthly dispensation, some men have been appointed to good, and some to evil. In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. God’s firstfruits will get their spiritual awakening now. That he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory. But God has appointed the rest of mankind for enlightenment in a later dispensation. Even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

All these things are locked within the sovereign choice of God’s wisdom and power. What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction. The choices of God exhibit wisdom far beyond human capacity. Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

As you seek to learn the mystery of God’s choices, you will discover an ancient origin. Predestination is the choice that God made of you, long before you were born. By this method God loved Jacob and hated Esau. God’s predestination is sure, and his choices irrefutable. For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth; It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Just as with Jacob and Esau, your spiritual condition today is the result of God’s choice, not yours. Your situation is not a result of the decisions you have made. Rather, you are where you are, because of the choices that God has made. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

God’s decisions are the only actions ever manifest in the universe at any time. And learning this is the beginning of your relationship with him. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand.

The Workmanship of God

God is the fountainhead of all power, wisdom, and choice, and ultimately, every action in the created realm is simply a byproduct of his pleasure. His secret plan is now speeding toward completion and every component is his workmanship. Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.

God is the architect of all things as they are today, and as they will be tomorrow. He is the designer and builder of the world, and your life within it. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

By himself, God has planned and arranged for your destiny. All that you can see and hear, all that touches your sphere, enters by the express design of the master builder. Life and death, good and evil, blessing and cursing, all labor under the express direction of God, to bring forth his will in you. A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

Consider Ephesians 1:1-19, where God reveals himself as the sole worker of all things.

HIS BLESSING. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings. God is the provider of all blessing. Not your good looks, your superior intellect, your job, your church, or accidental circumstance. God has given you all that you have, and he has made you all that you are.

HIS CHOICE. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. God chose you, and not vice-versa. Before he made the earth he marked out your destiny, and even now he foresees your perfected state.

HIS CHILDREN & HIS WILL. Having predestinated us unto the adoption [SonPlacing] of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. The will of God is invincible, and a servant of his wisdom. He has decided that you shall be made into the image of his Son. He did not ask your permission, nor does he need your approval. Since he is all powerful and all wise, he gets everything he wants, even without your help. Absolutely nothing can stop him and there is nothing you can do to dissuade your position in Christ. Your present condition and your destiny are not the result of your works, they are the workmanship of God.

HIS GRACE. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Grace is “free unmerited favor.” All the workmanship of God comes to you as a free, unmerited gift. You have earned nothing. It is God’s grace that has made you what you are, and this grace will lead you to your ultimate state. Not your good choices. Not your superb lifestyle. Though you are certainly involved with the process, yet this process could not operate without the workmanship of God.

HE ABOUNDS. Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence. Wisdom and knowledge flow from God to you. He abounds toward you with everything required for your perfecting. He is the supplier of every necessary component for this highly technical, intense, and delicate project. This abundance originates in him, and flows from him.

HIS WILL & HIS PLEASURE. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself. In his interplay with man upon the earth, God has revealed his will, his pleasure, and his purpose. This mysterious will is that you shall one day be conformed into the image of his Son. Your part is simply to cooperate with this plan, and the workmanship of God will accomplish it in you.

HE GATHERS. In the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ. Christ is the anointed company of the firstborn Sons of God. The completion of this corporate group is the workmanship of God. When this supernal cartel is complete, God will gather these Sons together, and entrust the creation to their hands. God is the author, the finisher, and the only gatherer on this project.

HIS PURPOSE. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. Before you were born, God marked out a spiritual inheritance for you. This inheritance is the transfer of wealth from Father to Son. It is the immutable purpose of God that you shall one day possess this inheritance. To this end, God has arranged your life according to his will. You are his workmanship.

HIS GLORY. That we should be to the praise of his glory. When the work of God is finished in your spirit, you will be a living example of his glory. You will show the splendor of God as an honorable Son extols his Father. This is entirely your Father’s doing. Your present and future existence is the workmanship of God.

HIS INHERITANCE. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Revelation is the knowledge of God- it is an understanding of his calling and his inheritance. The inheritance of God is that you shall one day possess his character and capacity. These things are summed up in his plan of Sonship. An understanding of this plan is the gift and revelation of God. It is not a payment for your hard study or sterling character. The knowledge, plan, and inheritance of Sonship, are the workmanship of God.

HIS POWER. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe. The immeasurable and unlimited power of God will bring forth his workmanship in you. You have caught hold of glory, it has swept you away. Hold on for the ride of your life.

The workmanship of God has made you all that you are now, and all that you will be. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth. If you are seeking God, it is because he has sovereignly dragged you. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him. The spiritual awakening of men is the workmanship of God. As many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

The scope and intricacy of God’s workmanship far exceeds the cognitive abilities of the human mind. Nevertheless, God is the producer and director of all things in the heavens or on the earth. He is the doer of all things, and as the only worker, he absolutely cannot fail. If God be for us, who can be against us?

The God of All Good

For his pleasure, God creates and sustains all things bright and good. His nature is lovingkindness and this permeates all his actions. The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. His works float on streams of his love, as flowers drifting gently on a current of divine benevolence to man. I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

God is the only source of “good ” in the universe. He is the source of every blessing that his creatures crave. Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. All his works are devised to extend the reach of his love. Every action in the created realm blushes with the goodness of God. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

The goodness of God hovers upon man as a doting nanny. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? His heart is fervent to reveal his grand and glorious blessings to all who ask. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Those who come to God will find his lovingkindness. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. He is the source of every treasure, the dispenser of joy and wealth. The LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good.

God is the guarantee of your success and the assurance of your everlasting peace. He is your loving Father. He is the source of your earthly life and the designer of your destiny. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.

Consider Psalm 103, where God describes the glorious abundance of his goodness toward you.

BENEFITS. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Cloaked in the blessings and traumas of life, are the benefits of God. While traversing the twisting turns of each day, your Heavenly Father calls to you. Remember his love and keep it before your eyes. God is the source of every good thing, and he intends all things for your eternal profit.

FORGIVENESS. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities. By the wisdom of God, all flesh has sinned and come short of his glory. This shortfall can be thought of as a deficit, a specific amount by which you were made to lack from the perfection of God. By the forgiveness of God, he has decreed that you shall one day make up this deficit. What you now lack, you will soon have, and obtaining it, you will arrive at the glory of God. This is forgiveness. It is the satisfaction of your deficiency, the reversal of your lack. It is God who unconditionally forgives the failings of your humiliation, and still promises to raise you to the level of his glory.

HEALING. Who healeth all thy diseases. The disease of death thrives in the carnal mind and Adamic body. This enemy is destroyed as your mind is renewed into the anointing of Christ. As the life of Jesus Christ matures in you, you will be healed from every disease. Your spirit will be made complete and will pulse with vibrant, outflowing vitality, made immortal by the goodness of God.

REDEMPTION. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction. The Adamic experience is a dip into death for the future rulers of the universe. To be lifted from the destruction of this carnal death is the treasure of redemption. His sweeping plan will ultimately lift you out from iniquity and death, and set you into the highest of celestial heavens.

LOVINGKINDNESS. Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. The crown of lovingkindness is the crown God wears. He is even now preparing you to wear this same crown. Your momentary earthly processings are the steps to this possession. The lovingkindness and mercy that God has, indeed even all his character, will one day be yours. These are the treasures that shall adorn the heads of those who become his Sons.

GOOD THINGS. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. You begin your Adamic existence as the most destitute and needy creature in the universe. But God intends to satisfy your lack, so that you will be renewed and strong, overcoming and soaring. When you complete the process to Sonship you will radiate the goodness of God. You will dwell in a youth of infinite regeneration, as an effulgent source of life and joy.

RIGHTEOUSNESS. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. In the garden of Eden, God subjected every man to sin and death. But this very oppression is the guarantee of their future righteousness. The judgment and character of God are reserved only for those who have been oppressed by Adamic failure. The time for earthly trials will soon come to an awesome conclusion, and the sons of Adam will be transformed into the righteousness of God.

MERCY & GRACE. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. Mercy and grace are twins, which flow in abundance from the limitless ocean of God’s goodness. They are the agents of God, the active proponents that will actualize your life and secure the destiny that God has planned for you.

If the goodness of God were limited to earthly blessings, he would be a glorious and wonderful benefactor. But the awesome lovingkindness of God goes far beyond this. His goodness is exceedingly greater than you are capable of imagining.

Try to think up the most outrageous delight that you can, and the reality of God’s goodness for you is exceedingly beyond that. As it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. God’s goodness toward you transcends the created realm. He intends for you to become not just part of the kingdom, but part of the King. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne.

The ultimate goodness of God is the secret plan of Sonship. By this little known design, God intends to give you his character, his wisdom, his power, and his immortality. God has arranged the heavens and the earth so that he might literally reproduce himself in you. Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons.

God is now working a brilliant scheme to bring forth a cadre of new spirit beings- Sons who are born in his own image and likeness. There can be no greater blessing in existence, and this is the goodness of God. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

The God of Good & Evil

As certainly as good was first conceived in the mind of God, so also was evil. Evil is summarily the opposite of good, and without the one the other could not exist. If there were no evil, then “good” would be meaningless.

All things in creation flow from the power, wisdom, choice, and workmanship of God. So also, good and evil flow from the mind of God. Good & evil are the extremes of God’s character and both are the expression of his personality. Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? God manifests evil as easily as good, and dispenses either with the facility of a master surgeon. Both good & evil flow from his throne in a continuous stream to accomplish his sublime purpose. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?

As you come to experience the true nature of your Heavenly Father, and to see him from the inside, you will learn that good & evil are simply tools of his wisdom. They are the devices that he uses to produce immortality from emptiness. Therefore as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things.

If it were possible to assemble a model of God’s mind, it might be depicted as a sphere, having several layers. The outermost covering would be composed entirely of lovingkindness. Love is the final purpose of God’s actions and the ultimate result of all his works. Lovingkindness is all that can be seen or known of God from the outside. This outer layer operates as a screen or filter. It prevents the expression of any thought or action that cannot ultimately be used to produce more love.

If you were to penetrate this outer stratum of God’s mind, you would encounter the boundless depths of his goodness. This is an infinite region of creative blessing. It might appear as a myriad of beautiful interwoven canyons, streaming, twisting, intersecting, and winding through opulent realms of benevolent charity.

But if you could pass all the way through this measureless goodness of God’s mind, you would eventually come to a secret place never before seen by any created being. For deep inside the spiraling labyrinth of God’s mind resides the source of all evil, hidden, and incarcerated there since long before time. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

In this model of God’s mind, evil is placed in the center, only to show that it is totally cloaked and wrapped on all sides by multitudinous layers of his goodness. Though God is indeed the author of what you call evil, yet all evil is contained wholly within the bounds of his goodness and love. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

For any evil to be manifest, it must first pass through the purifying and infinite layers of God’s goodness. Then it must also pass through the outer cortex and meet the test of his lovingkindness. The evil that arises from within the mind of God cannot be manifest, unless it has been specifically designed and purposed in such a way, that its expression will ultimately bring about more of his lovingkindness.

Those who are exposed to God’s evil, will ultimately find themselves becoming generators of his lovingkindness, because good & evil are the building blocks of love. All the evil in the world today will one day be revealed as the love of God, to bring about hidden purposes of incalculable blessing. Every action of good and evil that touches your life today has been sent from God to spark the production of his love in you. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most.

In all the eons of bygone ages, God has never demonstrated evil to his creation, until now. The knowledge of good & evil was not required for the angels. Which things the angels desire to look into. This knowledge is only required for God and the Sons who are born of his loins. If you are going to be born of God, then you must experience the good & evil that is resident in his mind, even the hidden wisdom that no creature has ever known before. And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil.

When you take the wings of the morning, you will find God in “good.” When you make your bed in a nightmarish hell, you will find God in “evil.” You must find him in both these places before you will really know him at all. Your understanding must be opened to see your Heavenly Father as the originator of both these forces, in your daily life and in the world around you.

This knowledge approaches the ultimate goal. For when you are finally enabled to see God in all good and every evil, then you will finally see him as he is. And arriving at this state of being, you will then find that you have become like him.We know that when he comes and is manifested we shall as God’s children resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He really is. 1 John 3:2 (Amplified).

In the garden of Eden good and evil grew on the same tree, and this was the tree of death. In accordance with God’s plan, you have now been made subject to the forces of good and evil. This subjection is like a brief workshop in the mind of God. It is a time to experience the devastating effects of death by good, and death by evil. This training is the process that transfers the mind of God to your spirit by experience. Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words.

The knowledge of good & evil is vital to your education, for it mirrors the mind of your Heavenly Father. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good. Eventually these powers will become the tools of your new and permanent vocation. For the Sons of God are being prepared to sit upon the throne of the universe. And when they do, good & evil will flow from them, as easily as they now flow from God. You who have shown us all troubles great and sore, will quicken us again and will bring us up again from the depths of the earth. Psalm 71:20 (Amplified).

The God of All Evil

Most Christians believe that God brings evil only on the wicked people, and that Satan brings evil on everybody. Such is the ridiculous and childish fantasy of Organized Religion. Much to the contrary, there is only one creator in the universe. All things good or evil, are made and sustained by God. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Just as God is the only source of “good” in the universe, so is he also the only source of “evil.” For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD. Evil does not create itself, it is not created by Satan, and it is not created by you. Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us.

According to the wisdom of God, he has subjected all his creation to his own evil devices. All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD. God is the maker of all evil, the progenitor of pain, and the ultimate cause behind every failure. Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

When it suits his purpose, the intention of God is death and destruction- he is the doer of evil. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingleEvil is the work of God, manifest for the eternal benefit of man. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. It is this experience and understanding of God’s evil that will ultimately bring forth the Sons who are to be born in his own image. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

The understanding of evil is so important, that when God decided to unveil it, he appointed an archangel to personally oversee its administration. Lucifer, the “Shining One,” was given the deluded mind of a beast, and placed as the vice-president in charge of evil affairs on earth. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground.

Satan is not a creator of anything- he is a created being himself, sustained every moment by God. He has been assigned as the administrator of God’s evil. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire; and I have created the waster to destroy.

All the works of Satan are done in the service of God.And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. And when his services are no longer required, this seemingly ferocious and rebellious Devil will be subdued by a single angel, at the direction of God. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

Even the Satanic serpent in Eden was hand made by God to accomplish his specific purpose. Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. Through the work in Eden the carnal mind was created, and made as a sympathetic receiver for God’s evil. You have been bonded to this mind, which guarantees that you will receive the experience of evil that you require for the perfecting of your spirit.

The evil of God is not indiscriminately scattered upon the earth, but is surgically dispatched to achieve specific goals. God uses evil for correction, to mature your spirit, for revenge, and for education. These four primary purposes for God’s evil are discussed below.

The first purpose for God’s evil is to correct men’s lives. He uses it to turn their lives toward him, that they might begin to seek him with their whole heart. The carnal mind is mesmerized by its own beauty. There is no amount of goodness that can penetrate this delusion. Only evil turns wayward men to God. Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

When troubles arise in your life you will seek your loving Heavenly Father. I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. When you feel slain by problems, this is God’s call for deeper attention. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh.

When evil rips through your sphere, throw yourself upon God’s mercy. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. The experience of evil is the work of God to turn you from your path, that you might begin to walk with him personally. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

The second purpose for God’s evil is to bring about the maturity and perfection of your spirit. God brought Satan against Jesus three times, at his birth, baptism, and betrayal. He was abandoned to the evils of Herod, Satan, and Judas. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

This evil was the pleasure of God. By the endurance of these sufferings, Jesus was perfected. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief. By these evils Jesus became an Overcomer and procured for himself all the glories reserved for these preeminent warriors. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

In similar fashion, God brought evil against Paul. For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. But this evil was the guarantee of Paul’s spiritual perfection. The scars of undeserved beatings came from the love of God, and those pains later became Paul’s principal source of comfort and confidence. From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

The third purpose for God’s evil is revenge. Within the limited scope of this present dispensation, God is not always forgiving. At times he may exact restitution with fiendish severity. And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

God’s perfect memory failed to forget or forgive the sins of Amalek, to the screams of ripped-up women and dismembered children. I remember that which Amalek did to Israel. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling.

Those whom his wisdom targets for destruction, receive his evil without mercy. Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them. But still, in the dispensations yet to come, all these evils will be revealed as the lovingkindness of God. Thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.

The fourth purpose for God’s evil is education. He uses it to demonstrate his grandeur, power, and personality. His fierce and terrible works are his finest moments, causing his creation to look on in awe. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. Even a life of agonizing handicap is the doing of God, spawned from his desire to reveal his own glory. Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

To God, evil events are no different than any other, and he is well pleased with his actions of death and destruction. They are all perfect. They exist for his pleasure and they accomplish his will.

After learning the purposes for evil, it is important to understand the methods that God uses to distribute his evil. These methods are many, and include prospering the wicked, idolatry, devils, and deception. These four are discussed below.

One way that God dispenses evil is by prospering the wicked. Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. The wicked people of the earth have been established by God, and appointed to manifest the horrifying abominations which originate from the mind of God. Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously? Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit.

The prosperity of wickedness is required to produce an environment where the Sons of God can be properly matured. Thus God has ordained every vile, disgusting form of filth, including his own blasphemy. And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

The prodigal son’s riotous living was financed by his father, and so also, the wanton evils of today are financed by God. Only God has the ability to sustain the prosperity of wickedness that you now see in the world around you. And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

A second way that God dispenses evil is by turning men to idolatry. Ancient Israel was turned to the worship of Baal, Molech, and Ashtoreth, by the wisdom of God. When the northern ten tribes separated unto pagan idolatry, God took credit for this most grievous evil. Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me.

God turns men to idolatry that he may devour them with evil. Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them. Idolatry is spiritual adultery, and it originates from God as part of his plan. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. He is the destroyer, and no one else. The idolatry that is rampant in the world today, is the workmanship of God. Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse.

A third way that God dispenses evil is by sending devils. Every form of evil is sent from God, and this includes demonic powers and every evil spirit in existence. Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech. These vexing spirits work to accomplish the will of God. But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

Every evil spirit today is doing the work for which it was created. Ultimately, all the actions of these demons will contribute to the proliferation of God’s lovingkindness. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me.

A fourth way that God dispenses evil is by fostering lies and deception. And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. God has conceived and directed every deception of man. He freely employs lying and subterfuge when it suits his purpose. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he [God] said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

Every lie and every spiritual seduction has been invented by God. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. These devices are simply a part of his repertoire, and are implemented under the direction of his unerring wisdom. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them.

God is the instigator and disseminator of every evil action. Shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? When your life is destroyed, God did it. Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me. When you are consumed with suffering, this is your Father. The Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction. When your good works are despised and rejected, God is responsible. When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness. Even when you are robbed and cheated, God arranged it. Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD? When you feel cold against God, he did that too. O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear?

When your perverted government is intent on your destruction, it is God’s doing. For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire. When your world becomes emptiness and futility, this also is from your Heavenly Father. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. Anytime you experience evil, or collapse, or pain, or anguish, you are in the hand of God. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

God has had to harden his own heart to subject his Sons to the evil they require for their perfecting. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope. Now he suffers with you, and cries along with all your pain. Therefore said I [God], Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.

This anguish of God’s heart is the first step in your spiritual primogenesis. This pain is a component of your gestation and the guarantee of your spiritual birth. For the knowledge and experience of evil, are required for the offspring of God. And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

It is time now to strip off your double-minded carnality and surrender to an all sovereign God. You cannot continue to worship one creator of good and another of evil. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. All the evil that has been done by your fellow man, has been ordained by the wisdom of God. To believe that evil originates anywhere else in the universe is a coffin of double-minded delusion. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

While you continue to credit Satan or mankind for the creation of evil, your understanding remains blocked and you will not be able to learn the true nature of God.

Stop blaming the people of earth for their evil deeds, and start looking for God’s divine wisdom behind every action. Consider the long term result of the evil that God has allowed. If you look close enough you will find him hiding there, even amidst the most vile hour of your darkest night. Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net. He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.

Evil is not good, but rather, evil is God. God demands that you credit him for every destruction, and for every heinous depravity, so that he can become the Lord of all things in your life. See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

All the evil that has ever percolated from the deep core of God’s mind will one day stamp to the forefront as his infinite wisdom. If God does not intend a thought, or action, or creature to serve for his pleasure, then he does not create it. What he does not intend to use for ultimate blessing, simply does not exist. Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

There is a divine purpose for the creation of every evil event. The purpose of universal evil is to bring forth an ever increasing abundance of the love of God. The purpose of earthly evil is that you might learn this.

The Sovereignty of God

The carnal mind of man is not capable of comprehending the empyreal perfection of God. Instead it erroneously ascribes human characteristics to its omnipotent creator. This regretful situation is called “anthropomorphism.” And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man.

The carnal mind cannot forgive, so it invented Hell and blamed it on God. The carnal mind cannot comprehend God’s purpose for evil, so it invented an all powerful Devil. The carnal mind doesn’t like suffering, so it invented the Rapture. The carnal mind wants earthly splendor, so it invented the Gospel of Prosperity. The carnal mind wants to be the boss, so it invented the Free Will of man.

The carnal mind of man is the god of Modern Christianity. This idolatrous deity is nothing more than an assemblage of human failings. Arising from the perverse limitations of fallen men, this god is stupid, weak, fearful, and vengeful.

The god of Modern Christianity is thought to have failed in the garden of Eden. Accordingly, he is now expected to fail as the savior of all men. Having no plan, no power, and no purpose, this incompetent bungler apparently leaves all the really important decisions to man. When men prove to be as foolish as he is, he is then supposed to demand the fiendish revenge of Eternal Torment.

All this can be averted, however, if anyone will put a penny in the plate, a cookie in their mouth, and flatter him with their lips- then this little god promises to reward them with earthly riches. This is putrid idolatry at its finest. Ye say that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him.

The truth is quite the opposite, for God is not a man, neither is he governed by any human characteristics. God is not subject to physical laws- The bush burned with fire, and was not consumed. God is not afraid of sorrow- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. God does not experience doubt- Who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me.

God does not know fear- I am understanding; I have strength. God is never confused- Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom. God does not accumulate wealth- For all those things hath mine hand made. God originates terror- He doeth according to his will in the army of heaven. God is not affected by evil- I make peace, and create evil. God is not subject to death- Having neither beginning of days, nor end of life. God’s actions always produce love- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? And he absolutely cannot know failure- All things are of God.

God is not human. Though he creates human emotions, he is not subject to any. If his total sovereignty seems incomprehensible, then you have been beguiled by the carnal god of Organized Christianity. Flee this bloodthirsty harlot and toss her puny god in the garbage can of religious dogma. Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Cease now to drag God down to your level, for he exists far above the human sphere. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.

God’s glorious plan for every man is beyond question. His power is absolute, and nothing has ever contradicted his will. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

In the ages to come, all things that have occurred in the heavens or on the earth, will be seen to manifest the lovingkindness of God. But for the moment it does not always appear that way. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

This is because your comprehension of God’s mind is limited by your short, mortal, perspective. Your Adamic sojourn is a momentary vapor. Your view of the workings of God is but a snapshot, a single still frame in a very long movie.

To know God personally, you must leave these limitations behind and meet God in the timeless, solitary, self-existent state, where all things work to accomplish his pleasure. Things may not look right to you today, but just trust him and wait. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Time is a created dimension, a limitation for created beings only. God dwells outside the dimension of time, and is not subject to its restrictions. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

God functions from a perspective of timeless existence and infinite power. From this frame of reference, all things are naked before him. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. The end of every work is as plain to him as its beginning. From his perspective, his work on earth was finished to perfection, before he made the planet. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

This is your Heavenly Father, the supreme being of the universe. He embodies the abundance of radiant power. His works are a tempest and his turbulent decisions bolt from his hand to accomplish his will. Out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices.

All of history and all the future thrives and lives before him, for he dwells outside the confines of time. His presence permeates every speck in the universe. His power sustains every star and every man. His knowledge penetrates every darkness. His wisdom pervades every action. His workmanship is all that you see. Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

The creatures of God are animated for his pleasure. The events of their lives are in accord with his plan. And all these glories are but a single wisp of the limitless expanse that is your Heavenly Father. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

It is terrifying to have your God become all powerful and all sovereign. For when he entwines into all things, and exudes from every place, then there is no room left for you. Your will, your wisdom, your choices, your power, and your works, become simply manifestations of his pleasure. There is no room left for your ego, your self-centeredness, your big plans, your idolatry, or your carnal mind.

When you finally learn this, your earthly desires will wane and dissolve into a singular yearning for the celestial realm. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven. Learning his mind and perceiving his true nature, God becomes your all, and in all. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.

The ability to perceive God in all things is required before he can transfer any power to you. You must come to understand that every good and every evil is the result of his will- for only then would you not disrupt the perfection of things as they are.

This does not mean that you like evil. To the contrary, you are to grieve over evil. But you must also understand that evil has fallen out from the superior wisdom of God, and will ultimately be used to accomplish his pleasure.

This unshakable knowledge of God’s utter sovereignty is called the “Mind of Christ,” and this is the mind that must be developed in you. The Mind of Christ functions from an experiential understanding that God is absolutely, irrevocably, in sovereign perfect control of all things. This knowledge will enable you to accomplish the difficult tasks that will produce a Son of God within you. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, ... being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The Mind of Christ can endure any situation of devastating evil, and proclaim the peace of God’s power. It understands the sovereignty of God so completely, that it can look down the barrel of a gun and say to the bullet, “Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above.”

The Mind of Christ can proclaim, even today, the pervasive wisdom and power of God. It can rest through any storm, knowing that no physical or spiritual circumstance can accomplish anything, except the perfect, far-sighted pleasure of a loving God.

God is the originator of all things, both your destruction and your immortality. From his perspective, all actions in the created realm are but a sequence of events, emanating from his throne, to accomplish his purpose. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

If your Heavenly Father appeared to you right now, would you recognize him? Would he appear in a robe and sandals? Would he appear as a splendor of brilliant light with shining rays? Could he appear in bewildering terror, as a dark specter of adversity? Or might he appear as the events of your life, just as you found them today? Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

If the awesome extent of God’s total sovereignty seems incomprehensible to you, just wait. God will bring an experience of exquisite construction, to reveal that your subjection to evil is the mirror image of your immortality, and he is the doer of both.
